Rapid Response

Rapid Response

The primary objective of our rapid response service is to proactively prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and alleviate pressures on health services throughout the year. We achieve this by enabling individuals to receive care at home instead of being admitted to the hospital. Specially trained care workers respond promptly, within an hour of the call, to provide out-of-hours emergency care at home. Referrals are initiated by various healthcare entities, including A&E departments, out-of-hours GPs, district nursing services, NHS Direct, walk-in centers, and the Social Services Emergency Duty Team.
